I found a passion for storytelling at a young age while participating in theatrical productions, and found where I wanted to focus that passion when my father showed me the original Star Wars films.
After spending my middle and high school years making little stop motion animations and teaching myself basic visual effects, I got my first professional video exposure on the Video Technical Services student team at Wright State University.
While pursuing a BFA in Motion Pictures Production, I started an internship at WDTN/Dayton's CW in the Creative Services Department, where I learned and helped with various aspects of producing the "Living Dayton" show. That position turned into a part time job as an editor for the show, and after my graduation, turned into a full time role.
I was then offered a position at DH Productions as a Editor/Director of Photography, in which I work on commercials, corporate videos, and episodes of nonfiction TV shows for a new streaming service.
In my free time, I continue to learn as much as I can about various aspects of my craft, as well as participate in theatrical productions, play violin, and occasionally, break into Irish dance.
